For easier viewing of calling information the KX-T7636 features a large, 6-line backlit display screen with 13 soft-keys and 24 programmable buttons. Bring your personal call log, Caller ID information, or alphabetical list of speed dial numbers up on the screen and dial directly from it. You can even program system features via LCD prompts.

eXtra Device Port (XDP): An XDP is a built-in telephone (RJ-11) jack in the back of the phone that enables you to connect any single line device, thereby doubling the connection capacity without additional cards or wires. Because the XDP is a separate extension, you can use both devices simultaneously. Fax a document while talking on the telephone, or carry on a phone conversation while transferring data on your PC.

Flexible Central Office (CO) Line Buttons: Enables you to individually program each telephone for either Direct Station Selection (DSS), Busy Lamp Field (BLF), automatic dialing, or one-touch access to the feature each employee uses most often.

Speakerphone: A built-in speakerphone enables you to set the phone for automatic hands-free answering of intercom calls. Just imagine, no more interruptions just to answer the telephone.

Whisper Off-Hook Call Announce: This feature lets you intercom another 7600 series telephone user who is currently on the telephone. The other user can hear you through the handset of his or her telephone all the while undetected by the outside party.
